Connect Digital Hive to Databricks
As of the 2026.1 Digital Hive release, Databricks is a supported content system and an out of the box connector is available. Before Databricks can be added to Digital Hive, an App Connection must first be created within the Databricks settings.
Databricks Prerequisites
- Launch Databricks as an Administrator (https://accounts.azuredatabricks.net/)
- Go to

- On the App Connections tab press the Add Connection button
Provide values for Application Name, Redirect URLs, Access scopes, and ensure that Generate a client secret is selected
- Press the Add button
- A Connection created dialog box will appear. Copy these values and make sure that you have recorded the client secret as this will not be accessible again
- Press the Done button
Creating the Digital Hive Databricks Connector
- Log into Digital Hive as an Administrator
- Click on the user Avatar and select Manage Digital Hive
- From within the Digital Hive Control Center, open the Content - Connectors page
- Press New Connector
- Select Databricks from the list of available connector types

- Provide a Display Name that will appear within Digital Hive
- Currently, the only supported authentication method to Databricks is Databricks Oauth
- Provide values for Workspace ID, Client ID, and Client Secret. These values can be found in Databricks and the workspace ID will look something like https://adb-2836718439203501.4.azuredatabricks.net
- Ensure that the Redirect URL correctly reflects your Digital Hive URL
- Press Next
- You will then be prompted to configure a system credential, used for indexing, as well as your personal credential, the one that will be used to query Databricks when you view a dashboard. Make sure to press BOTH Configure now buttons
- If all configuration values are accurate, you will now be able to select which Content to make available in Digital Hive
