Upgrading a Multi-Server Environment

How do you upgrade a multi-server environment?

Answer

Below are the steps to guide you through a multi-server upgrade. 
  1. Backup both the primary and secondary environments
  2. Stop the Digital Hive services on both servers 


  3. Launch the installer on the primary server 


  4. Select Upgrade 















  5. Click Full application

  6. Select check Set up IQ failover node. You must enter the Failover IQ Server URL or IP address. 

     
  7. On the secondary server open installer and confirm these services are stopped 


  8. Second server select Upgrade


  9. On the secondary server select Failover node 

  10. Click Next 
  11. The Upgrade will begin. 
  12. Once you see green check marks confirm services Restarted
      
  13. Digital Hive has been successfully upgraded.
