How to set up Multilingual Pages in Digital Hive 2026.1?
Question
How do I configure multilingual pages in Digital Hive version 2026.1?
Answer
Multilingual support is now handled on a per page basis by adding different locales.
- Create a new Hive or add a new page to an existing Hive.
- You can add certain elements to the Page. In my case, I have File Explorer, Text Box and a Slider added.

- Click the Localization button on the top
- You will see a popup that says this page has one design for all locales and you can add design for a specific locale.

- Click Add design for a specific locale.
- It will open up a pop-up box saying that the new locale that is about to created will take a copy of the current layout. By default, the first page created takes the current system locale, which is English (US) in my case.
- You can click the drop down next to English (United Kingdom) and select the locale you want to use.
- For example, click French and click Save. Now at the top, you will see Localization (FR) and the page will have all the elements copied over from the initial page. You will notice that the File Explorer contents are now in French.

- If you click on Localization (FR), it will tell you that the current page you are viewing is French and the other locales you have created on this page. If you want to go back to the English (United States) page, just click it, under Current page locales variants.

- You can also delete any locale by clicking the Delete icon next to the locale under Current page locales variants.
- If you accidentally deleted it, there is an undo (arrow) option located next to the Normal icon on the top.

- Once the Hive is published, the users will only be able to see the design page for locale they are logging in from. In my case, I will only see the English (United States) page. My page will look like:

- Now let`s try changing the locale to French and check what you see on the same page.
- To change your locale, click on your Avatar and select My Account

- Under the Account tab, look for Preferred language. Click the pencil and the under the drop down, select French. Click the tick mark (
) above the Preferred Language to save the change.

- Go back to same page and you will notice the contents of the File Explorer in French.
