How do I execute Cognos reports to see the most recent values instead of viewing the last saved output?

Answer

The default setting for IBM Cognos Analytics reports is to display the last saved output of a report.  If you would like to see the latest values, here are the steps to execute a report instead of showing the last saved output:
  1. Click your avatar
  2. Select Manage Digital Hive
  3. Click Content
  4. Click Connectors
  5. Click the Cognos connector that you don't want to run saved output
  6. Click Settings
  7. Scroll down to Properties
  8. Unselect Prefer last saved output


  9. Click Save
