Selecting a Specific Visual from a Qlik Sense Sheet

Question

There is one specific Qlik Sense visualization that is required for a Digital Hive Unified Dashboard. Do we have to add the entire Qlik Sense sheet, or is it possible to 'extract' just the stand-alone chart?

Answer

It is possible to access individual visualizations contained within a Qlik Sense sheet. These visualizations can either be viewed as a stand-alone object, or embedded into a Digital Hive Story Board page. Here are the steps to embed the visualization into a Digital Hive page:
  1. While in the Digital Hive Designer, open the Files view
  2. Browse or Search for the desired Qlik Sense sheet
  3. Click the vertical three dots icon  for the corresponding sheet object
  4. In the options of the sub menu, select Show Contents 
  5. From the list of available objects, you can drag and drop any number of individual visualizations onto the Digital Hive page
  6. Once your work is complete, save the changes in the Designer
Chances are, the names of the individual elements won't be very meaningful, but the names start with the type of visualization, for example barchart, kpi, or map, so this makes it easier to identify which visual is the correct one.
