Content has Disappeared from the Digital Hive Interface

Question

It appears that all of the content has disappeared from the Digital Hive interface. When an Administrator accesses the Explore Content tool from their avatar, a blank screen is returned. How do we restore the view of the content?


Answer

This can happen when there was an issue with the indexing process. To resolve the issue:

  1. As an Administrator, click on the avatar in the upper right hand corner of the screen and select Manage Digital Hive
  2. Select Content from the left-hand menu
  3. Click on Advanced...
  4. Click on Reindex app content
This should regenerate the Digital Hive content index and restore the content view. 

Reindexing the app content does NOT reindex any of the content coming from the configured connectors.
