Unable to see the log in page after upgrading to Digital Hive 2026.1.1

Question

Why am I not able to see the log in page after upgrading to version 2026.1.1?

Answer

The upgrade went smoothly without any errors but still get an error when trying to open the URL after the upgrade. The issue is related to permissions. To resolve the issue, 

  1. Open Windows services and look for the node 1 service
  2. It needs to be running as a Local Service or a Domain account that has enough permissions. If running as Local System, you will see the above error. 
  3. Once you change the Service to run as Local service or a Domain account, restart node 1 service and then try accessing the URL again.
  4. All the other services associated with Digital Hive can run as Local System.
