The reason behind adding this particular parameter is :

During Digital Hive session initialization, we ‘warm up’ connections in the browser to downstream connectors such as Tableau or Cognos. This is done by opening a hidden iframe and directing the browser there. In some cases, where the normal SSO process should handle the logon automatically, the process can take a few extra seconds because it bounces between Tableau and its SAML IdP.

This setting tells Digital Hive to wait a few more seconds before disposing of the hidden iframe, allowing the handshake to complete first.
